Panoramic shot outside of Columbus

Tammy and I had a free Sunday so we decided to ride the HBC's Columbus North route.  This ride was supposed to be a 52 mile loop starting and ending in Columbus, Texas, however, we got lost along the way and ended up in Fayetteville!  Well, we didn't actually get lost, per se... what happened was we found what was probably our turn but it wasn't marked.  Since it was a beautiful day and we had plenty of time we decided to keep going (not take the turn) and just see where the road took us.  Right when we were about to go back (having decided that this new direction was taking us nowhere) we encountered a covered wagon!  After snapping some photos we kept going and ended up in Fayetteville where they were celebrating their Lick Skillet Days Festival.  Tammy and I got our picture taken with some pumpkins and browsed the booths before heading back.

All in all a great day.

The first shot is in Columbus at the town square.  The rest are of the scenery outside of Columbus.

We were just about to turn around and go back to the "correct" turn when we spotted these folk...
